IE browser hangs when using phpthumb. Known issue?

I use a wordpress theme that makes use of phpthumb for its thumbnail generation. I noticed that in Microsoft Internet Explorer, the page with the generated thumbnails never finishes loading the page. The problem is that in the IE browser, it seems that the browser hangs when loading pages that have thumbnails. For example, go to this link and watch the browser status bar never finish!

Does anyone have any clue on what is happening? How can I fix this problem? Thanks so much, it has been bugging me.

I can't imagine why IE would have any influence on how PHP executes on the server... I would venture a guess that something else is going wrong... perhaps with your javascript? Wish I could offer a better answer :(

Thanks for answering, even if you don't know the solution. I have seen other sites like mine that have the same issues. Oh well, if you find out anything, let me know. Thanks.

I have built a wordpress plugin using the v.2 of the library, I promise to upgrade to v.3 soon. Perhaps you could try using it instead and see if that sorts out your problem. We have use in quite a few sites already and never come across the problem you mention. Get the plugin at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/choicecuts-image-juggler/
