Pixelated corrupt image output

    Perhaps I am missing something but I am resizing this image (the small one):
    Google image of a car

    But it comes out half grayscale and extremely pixelated.

    I am using the resize method.

    It seems to be happening for any image I try.

    Ignore this, my fault my setting of the quality was bad so it was assuming "0" quality.
